Bank On Greater Milwaukee is a coalition of community partners dedicated to providing access to safe and affordable banking services for underserved individuals and families in the Greater Milwaukee area. As a member-driven organization, Bank On Greater Milwaukee offers a range of benefits to its members, including access to financial education and resources, networking opportunities, and the chance to make a positive impact in the community.

Bank On Greater Milwaukee partners across sectors to work to connect residents to banking products certified as meeting the Bank On National Account Standards. Bank On Greater Milwaukee also helps residents with information about how to use these products effectively and how to navigate the consumer finance marketplace successfully. 

Membership:

Membership with Bank On Greater Milwaukee is free and open to anyone interested in promoting financial inclusion in the community. Members receive access to a range of benefits, such as specialized professional development opportunities, industry-leading guidance in the financial and inclusion industry, networking and more. These benefits are designed to help individuals and and organizations work collaboratively to work towards financial equity and wellness for all.

Volunteer:

Volunteers play a crucial role in supporting the work of Bank On Greater Milwaukee. Volunteers can participate in various initiatives and events, such as financial education seminars, job training programs, and community outreach efforts. Volunteering is an excellent way to get involved and positively impact the community while gaining valuable experience and skills.

Committees:

In addition to volunteering, there are many ways to get involved with Bank On Greater Milwaukee. Members can join one of the committees or become a member of the Advisory Committee to help shape the organization’s direction and priorities. They can also attend meetings and events to connect with other community members and organizations and learn about the latest developments in the field of financial inclusion.
