Sixteenth Street Community Health Center Bike Giveaway

A community-based event that encourages physical activity and healthy eating, provides bike tune-ups, and gives away bikes, helmets, and locks to children on Milwaukee’s southside. It takes place in June.

This festival celebrates the anniversary of the day when the last enslaved people of African descent in the South received word of their freedom on June 19, 1865. It takes place in mid-June.

The only Latino event in the State of Wisconsin that recognizes all the various heritages that make up the Latino Community, featuring authentic Latino cuisine, live music, cultural dancing, arts & craft, a children’s area, and more. It takes place at the end of October.
